Catching Memories
Catching Memories is a temporary art installation that gives physical form to my inner world. I painted over photographs I had taken, using acrylic colour and gesture to express the emotions I associate with each memory. I then placed these images within a layered web of wire, conceived as a metaphor for consciousness and the connections between neurons.
As viewers move around the installation, they see the photographs through overlapping strands and shifting shadows, experiencing the memories as parts of a larger, interconnected mind.
